MegaCalc
MegaCalcTM is a multivarious source of scientific and engineering formulae, physical constants, mathematical, statistical and graphing routines and calendar functions, as well as being a very capable calculator. It is also uniquely customisable......and very affordable.

Many useful functions are ready supplied. If you need a new function you can add it to the calculator, and then easily add a new button to access it. You can add new constants in the constants’ table and add new solver functions. The on-line help file tells you how.

For the engineer/scientist:
A comprehensive list of physical constants is built into MegaCalc, so there is no need to keep looking them up.

MegaCalc comes with all the useful units conversions already built-in.

There is a fully featured statistical package. You can view and edit the statistical data that you have entered. The mean, sum and standard deviation are calculated on the fly as you enter new data.

Graphs can be plotted from data on your hard-disk or from a function that you type in. You can print the graph directly or copy it to the clipboard and place it in your own document.

The calculator can be used with complex numbers. It will switch to using complex numbers when required, for example if you were to type in log(-1).

Previous calculations are shown above the current calculation so it is possible to take results from several calculations and carry them forward into a new calculation.

For the programmer:
MegaCalc comes with a complete integer calculator. It works in decimal, hex, octal and binary. You can use all the common functions such as "and", "or" and logical-shifts.

Easy to use & always on hand:
MegaCalc sits in the task-tray, next to the clock, tasktray.gif (1746 bytes) on the Windows desktop.

You can specify that MegaCalc is always on top, so that, while typing the results of your calculation in to your document, the calculator is still visible. When you have finished with MegaCalc you can close it and it will return to the task-tray

MegaCalc provides a calendar, and can calculate the number of days between two dates, or, if you prefer, calculate the date given the initial date and the number of days.
